Bronte Morel
2012 - 2014
Bronte Morel is an international photographer based in London, working across the UK, Europe, and Australia. Having spent her formative years in Singapore, she returned to Canberra to study at the prestigious Australian National University School of Art.
A natural connector and community leader, Bronte immersed herself in student life at John XXIII College, serving as Social Representative before being elected President in 2014. Her leadership and commitment to fostering community remain defining elements of her professional and personal life. Graduating from ANU with a major in Printmedia and Drawing, Bronte established herself as a practicing artist, creating and exhibiting work while building a successful career across the arts, hospitality, and events industries. During this period, she also embraced a uniquely Australian adventure, working as a Jillaroo on a remote cattle station in Western Australia before relocating to London in 2019.
In London, Bronte combined her entrepreneurial spirit with an extensive career in hospitality and events, gaining valuable experience while travelling throughout Europe and beyond. In 2023, she made the decision to dedicate herself fully to her creative practice, launching her career as a professional photographer. Driven by a deep curiosity about people and a passion for storytelling, Bronte specialises in portrait and wedding photography, creating images that capture authentic connection, character, and emotion. Her work reflects a belief that every individual has a story worth preserving. Illustra marks Bronte's first solo photographic exhibition and represents an exciting milestone in her evolving artistic journey.
Maintaining a strong connection to the John XXIII College community, Bronte is an active member of the Johns Ex-Residents Association and plays a key role in strengthening and expanding the alumni network in London.
